Payment of subscription by standing order
In the August & November 2024 journals we explained that Santander had told us that they would no longer process standing order payments to LFHS bearing the old Alliance & Leicester sort code and that members should set up new standing orders with the Santander sort code, account number and account name. Whilst they have continued to process them into the early weeks of January, they have now stopped doing so and notified issuing banks who have, in turn cancelled the standing orders & are notifying members. If you have been affected (or think that you will be) you should set up a new standing order using the information to be found in the afore-mentioned journals.
You should also cancel the existing standing order (if your bank has not yet told you that it has done so.)
